Absolutely! Our software is ideal for smaller charities. Breathe is designed to help you save time and money by simplifying your HR management – no matter the size of your team.

Your data is stored in our state-of-the-art datacenters which have been independently ISO 27001 certified. It’s also backed up automatically, giving you peace of mind. Most charities would need to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds to set up equivalent infrastructure for themselves. With Breathe, it’s included as part of your subscription.

Both charity and customer accounts have full access to all of Breathe’s features, however Breathe will make a 25% annual donation to each charity customer.

Breathe will make a quarterly donation to each charity customer, which will equate to around 25% of payments received by Breathe in the quarter leading up to the donation. Donations exclude VAT payments. 

Donations will be made in February, May, August & November 2025 (months subject to change).

Any registered UK charity (with a valid UK charity number and bank account) can qualify for the annual donation. 

Important: Please ensure that you have entered both your registered charity number and your charity bank details (the account which will receive your donation) into your Breathe account settings. Without this, our accounts team will not be able to pay your donation.

Our charity donations aren't contractual - Breathe is choosing to make an quarterly donation to each of our charity customers in recognition of the great work they do for our communities.

To receive the charity donation, all charity customers need to ensure that they have provided their registered charity number AND the bank details of the account that will be receiving the donation. Without these details, we will be unable to issue your donation.

Donations will only be made to customers with an active account at the time of the donation. If your account is cancelled before this, you will no longer be eligible to receive the donation.
