Case Study: Breathe Software Partnership with Forrest HR

We spoke to Sophie from Breathe partner, Forrest HR, to find out how partnering with us and offering the Breathe system to her clients has helped her business grow.

 

00:03: Forrest HR launched in April last year and the reason that I launched the business is because I'd been made redundant twice in under a year and it made me sort of question what I wanted to do next. I reached out to a few of my contacts to see if they could do with some outsourced HR help.

00:21: I was recommended to do BNI so it was a bit of a no-brainer. I joined pretty much straightaway and it just escalated the business. 85% of our business comes through BNI.

00:35: The target market for us is SMEs. Any sort of business from 1 employee up to about 50 or 60 staff - it really does vary. We also work with businesses who are much bigger than that and who maybe have in-house HR as well, but we just provide an additional support service to them.

00:53: I first came across Breathe back in 2012 when I was working for another HR consultancy. When I started up my business last year I knew that I wanted to be able to offer HR software and I didn't look at any others because I knew that Breathe was the perfect product for me to use.

01:10: My relationship with Ewan, my account manager, is brilliant. He's very supportive. He's great. He's helped us at 2 exhibitions now. He's available when I need him - as is the rest of the partner team - and he's always happy for me to offer special offers and deals to our clients which we do on occasion so that's great.

01:31: It’s a proper partnership. It's not just about the product, it's all of the support and the add-ons that we get from the Breathe team as well.

01:40: Breathe has also opened up other networks for me as well. At the summit last year I met some great HR professionals and they introduced me to a couple of closed Facebook pages where HR professionals are very active on them and that's been brilliant.

01:55: It's such a perfect service within what we offer. so where we would be without would be that I'd have 20+ clients without a decent piece of HR software and me not being able to have that service to sell to my clients.
