Jonathan Richards

Chief Executive Officer, Founder

Jonathan has a background in building businesses. His strengths lie in leadership, company development and asking awkward questions. His job is to set the direction and keep everyone focused.

Outside work, Jonathan can't seem to avoid a challenge. Over the years he's had many mini adventures including sailing the Atlantic, trekking in the Himalaya (twice) and canoeing 140 miles along the UK waterways. 2012 sees him attempting the Lake District 24 - 24 peaks in 24 hours.

Jonathan's drive is what keeps breatheHR at the forefront of the industry.

Gareth Burrows

Director, Founder

Gareth has a background in people, systems and project management and that heads up the product strategy. His job is to deliver a product that is simple to use, secure and reliable. He can often be seen wandering the office talking to himself

Outside work he can be found either scaling the heights of the UK's highest mountains or deep wreck scuba diving at the bottom of the sea. His honeymoon photos mostly contain mountain tops and loads of snow!

Gareth has a passion for making systems that are simple to use and not over complicated.

Our developers - Osborne Brook

The guys at Osborne Brook do a great job of turning our dreams and plans into reality.

Simon Brook

Director

Simon is Osborne Brook’s technical director. Simon’s background is in Mathematics and Philosophy – allowing him to both think outside the box and communicate his innovative ideas to clients and stakeholders.

Simon‘s strength lies in flexible and innovative approach to technical problems. He is skilled at seeing new ways clients can make use of the internet.

Peter Osborne

Director

Peter is Osborne Brook’s director of usability and design – he dreams in HTML5 and CSS. In his previous life he obtained a Ph.D in Environmental Chemistry in 1995 before working as a Member of Faculty in Modern History at Oxford University (1996-9).

He has also worked as an associate lecturer in Technology with the Open University and is still (slightly bizarrely) a consultant in sustainable design to a Japanese construction company. Peter’s strength is his ability to work with and understand the needs of stakeholders and partners from diverse backgrounds.
